I firstly want to give my compliments on this work. Looking at the quality of it, it is a very good third manipulation!!!. The stockphoto's are well cutout and blended together so it does not give it a pasted look. The colors look fine and are nice for the eye to see. The misty forest gives a good quiet background to give the other actors in this work, the necessary attention they should get. The Title of this work: The forest, looks quite plain but that gives the viewer the possibillity to make her/his own story looking at it. There are lets say 4 actors in this story. The girl, the wolf, the violin and the bird. Maybe a bit to much. In my opinion i would remove the wolf and make the model a lot bigger and give het the star-role in this nice piece. The violin looks like it is resting against at tree but should be smaller because these trees are further away than the big tree in front. I would be better to place it against the big tree!! The bird looks fine but could use a bit of adding some soft pink to blend it more in the background. Making shadows in a manipulation is often a hard thing to do. Personally i would give the shadow of the girl some gaussian blur to soften it and to make it blend in better. The lighting is quite basic and could be improved. There are many tutorials making rays of light etc. So i would suggest to study some of them to improve your skills.
Overal a fine and well done photomanipulation.
Greetings,
Ed
